For ages I just expected Tiny to be utterly amused by a blob of playdough. Not so much. She’d poke at it for a few minutes and then demand to be taken out of the high chair. It was a 5 minute amusement at best.
This week I started giving her bits and bobs to put in the playdough (now that she’s not putting *everything* in her mouth. She’s 19 months now). It’s a hit! Today she played with the playdough for so long that I was able to sit beside her and work on my own project!
It doesn’t have to be expensive either. No fancy sets are required. The possibilities are endless…depending on how old your child is, what they still like to eat/stick places and what you have in the house.

- Different smells. So far I’ve only tried lavender which was lovely but i might try cinnamon for Christmas.
- Themes! Autumn, winter, beach, jungle, summer, cats, apocalypse…
I also recommend a little bag or box to tidy it up into as Tiny loves to do this when she’s done.
Look what I made…
