My current project: Unicorn Decoupage with vintage stamps.

I’ve been slowly creating a wall of heads and butts by our front door and my brother bought me a decoptach mounted unicorn head for Christmas to add to the collection.

Last night I started covering it in old stamps I got from my favourite charity shop.

I love the effect so far.

A lot of the stamps are pre decimalisation and some of them are over 50 years old. I think 1964 is the oldest I’ve found so far.

JFK is my favourite stamp so he’s got a prominent spot on the nose.

What’s your favourite material to decoupage with? Do you use specialist glue or just PVA like me?

  1. I’ve never made a decoupage before, but it looks like something my children would enjoy!
Your unicorn is going to look really awesome when you are done. It already looks really cool.
