Review: Peppa Pig Muddy Puddle Cupcakes.

I saw these in Tesco and couldn’t resist as Tiny is currently obsessed with Peppa Pig.

They were ridiculously easy to make and less hassle than baking from scratch…but not as tasty and probably packed full of preservatives.

Step 1:

Put the cupcake cases into the tray.

Step 2:

Pour the cupcake mix into a bowl, add water and an egg.

Mix until creamy.

Step 3:

Spoon into the cupcake cases. There is just enough to make 12. Tiny loved this bit.

Step 4:

Bake for 12-15 minutes and allow to cool.

Step 5:

Pour the chocolate muddy puddle mix into a bowl and add water. I ended up needing to add more water than the recipe said .

This bit was great. As you stir the white powder turns into chocolate icing. Magic!

Step 6:

Decorate the cupcakes.

As well as the sugar paper pigs I added on some sprinkles to extend this bit a little.

Tiny loved making these (and eating them) and it was definitely the easier option for me.

But I think I’ll stick to regular cupcakes most of the time as they’re probably more healthy and at least there’s no unknown ingredients.

Do you have a favourite cake box like this?
