Review: Rose Daily Defence Moisturiser by Buddha Beauty.

A couple of weeks ago I was gifted a product from The Buddha Beauty Company. Buddha Beauty is a family run company based in Manchester specialising in vegan, natural and cruelty free products.

They sent me their Rose Daily Defence Facial Moisturiser to test. This moisturiser has been developed to support mature skin (hi there!) and reduce lines and wrinkles. It is enhanced with Co Enzyme Q10 which, according to Buddha Beauty, assists skin repair and rejuvenation, as well as stimulating the skin cell activity needed in order to eliminate toxins. The rose tones and tightens the skin brightening and increasing luminosity. It sounds amazing, right?

I love this moisturiser. And I’m really fussy about what I put on my face. I’ve been using it twice a day for the last couple of weeks and I’m really happy with the results.

One of my favourite things is that it isn’t greasy at all which makes it a really good base for applying make up over. I’ve also noticed that I’ve gotten less blemishes since I started using it and I’ve even gone without make up some days (No, really!)

It has an SPF of 25 which is great as I’m lazy and I hate applying moisturiser, sun cream and make up!

An extra bonus is that it smells great. I really love the subtle rose fragrance.

For something that feels high end I think the pricing is great. It’s £12 for 50ml and a little goes a long way even on my dry skin.

If you’re thinking of trying vegan skincare I’d definitely recommend The Buddha Beauty Company. I love their product and the philosophy behind it.

*I was gifted this product by The Buddha Beauty Company but as always, all views are my own.
